WHATTSUPERPAUL? After participating in the biggest slaughter in competitive eating history (Birmingham Krystals 9/20/08 Kobayashi 89 Krystals, Steve-O 24, Me 21,in 8 minutes), I went to the Krystal Square Off Finals this past Sunday in Chattanooga (I watched them, that is, up-close & in-person).  Congrats to Joey Chestnut, Pat Bertoletti, and Koby who finished 1-2-3.  It's always fun, and amazing to see the best!  Also really cool was meeting the Marshall Tucker Band - who, I think we've converted into fans, and other eating fans like the Hungry Sisters, Rick the Manager and Sherry (who needs to become an eater so I can put her in the best-dressed list).  Of course, it's great to see all the eaters, and get to talk with friends I only see once or twice a year. 
     My fabulous pictures of this great day, will be posted soon, along with the FINAL RESULTS of this year's BEST DRESSED EATER LIST - the most coveted prize in eating history (besides all the trophies, money, and other stuff). Hopefully, by week's end!
I also recently gave two lectures to the journalism students at Georgia State University.  It was a press conference set-up, and there were a lot of good, probing questions.  I especially liked the many questions about my unbelieveable handsomeness and debonairity - or did I dream that part?  However, I was dissapointed that no one invited me to a frat party afterwards!
